Mrs. Tonya Dupree is a seasoned HR strategist and dynamic leader with extensive experience in human resources, compliance, and organizational development.
With a career spanning over two decades, she has successfully guided institutions and businesses through transformative change, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals to foster growth and excellence. A John Maxwell-certified speaker, coach, and facilitator, Mrs. Dupree is passionate about servant leadership and conflict resolution, maintaining neutrality and objectivity to drive positive outcomes.
Her expertise includes diversity and inclusion, talent management, dispute resolution, employment law compliance, and strategic planning. She currently serves as the Senior Director of Human Resources and Compliance at Auburn University at Montgomery, where she spearheads recruitment, employee engagement, mediation, and compliance initiatives, including Title IX and EEO. Additionally, she provides HR consulting and diversity workshops as a Senior Consultant for BROL.
Mrs. Dupree holds a Master’s Degree (MPA) in Public Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Political Science from Auburn University at Montgomery, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Faulkner Law. She is an active member of the American Bar Association, Alabama Bar Association, and Alabama CUPA, where she serves as Secretary.
She has demonstrated a commitment to fostering inclusive, innovative workplaces while empowering teams to achieve excellence.
